One of my favorite things to do is to capture the love of engaged couples. There is just something so sweet about two people on the brink of living a life together as husband and wife. The sweet smiles, cute giggles, and the tender nervousness of being in front of the camera just makes my day. Well, my latest SDP couple is no different.
Kaitlin and Aaron showed up to the session looking casually adorable–Kaitlin in a soft blue dress and Aaron rocking denim, both in their signature cowboy boots. Kaitlin was a little nervous about her hair and makeup, because she didn’t want to appear too “made up.” I’m sure you’ll agree with me that she looked absolutely gorgeous, yet natural.
Thunderstorms threatened to derail this session–
I think between Kaitlin and I we looked at the forecast and radar a hundred times. Thanks to some prayer, crossed fingers and pleading, though, the rain held off. We felt victorious as the session was spared for this lovely duo.
Kaitlin and Aaron have, quite frankly, known each other forever. I guess you could say that they were destined to be together from childhood. They met in elementary school and have been friends ever since. Being so close with the family, Aaron took Kaitlin’s mom along to help pick out the ring, and as you will see, they did a great job.
After a sweet Christmas proposal involving their two children, Kaitlin and Aaron made the proclamation that they were ready to tie the knot.
Kaitlin and Aaron, it was great seeing you, and I look forward to capturing your wedding day in a few months!
