Fall Family Session: Watching the Bors Boys Grow
There’s something truly heartwarming about seeing a family come back year after year. The Bors crew has been with me since I first started out, and every session with them is a blast reconnecting with old friends (especially since Jordan and I used to teach together at Maupin Elementary). Watching the boys grow, capturing their personalities as they evolve, and sharing in these memories is such a privilege.
This year was something special. Logan, the oldest, arrived with serious model vibes. I’m not kidding – he posed and smiled like he was born for the camera! It was amazing to watch him transform into a natural, as if he’d been waiting all year for this very moment.
This may be the season of standout moments for the boys in front of my lens. Quite a few of my young male clients have really surprised me with their confidence and creativity – it’s like they’ve found their inner models! But, of course, each session is unique. Lachlan, the youngest, had a bit of a different approach this year. He let me know, in no uncertain terms, that he was not in the mood for pictures. But even with his serious face, we still managed to snag a few smiles, and those are some of my favorite captures.
It’s these little things – the laughs, the small quiet moments, the funny in-between snack times – that make family sessions so meaningful. They’re the memories we hold close.
If you’re dreaming of capturing your family in a beautiful fall setting, there’s still a little time left to book before the season wraps up. Reach out, and let’s make some magic happen! Oh, and if you are holding off for next year, you’re going to want to catch my Black Friday Specials!
