Family Session Spotlight: Fall Fun with Sharonda, Sharekia, and Their Beautiful Family

There’s something extra special about a fall photo session, especially when they involve a close-knit family like Sharonda, Sharekia, and their wonderful crew. The air was crisp, the colors were stunning, and this family brought all the warmth to match. I loved spending time with these two amazing sisters, their sweet children, and their incredible parents—it felt like one big celebration of love, laughter, and family.

First, let me just say, twins are the cutest! EVEN WHEN THEY ARE ADULTS! Sharonda and Sharekia share that special twin bond that you can just feel. They’ve got their own families now, but seeing them together, you’d think they were still those little girls who grew up side-by-side. Sharonda brought her son, and Sharekia had her two daughters, and these kids were the absolute sweetest! So respectful, full of smiles, and clearly just adored their family. Well, except when the little ones were getting on London’s nerves.

And having Mom and Dad join was the icing on the cake. They were so much fun and brought so much joy to the session! Watching them interact with their grandchildren and seeing the pride they have in their daughters was a beautiful reminder of what family is all about. We even got a few candid moments where they were all just laughing together, caught up in the little things that make family time so special.

Sharonda’s story added another layer of inspiration to the session. She recently opened a mental health therapy practice, and she’s doing incredible work to help people in the community heal from trauma and work through mental health issues. She’s making such a difference, and it was truly an honor to capture her in these beautiful family moments that remind us all of what she’s working to protect: connection, love, and support.
